Camps' Terms and Conditions

1. Conclusion of the Contract

By registering for an offer from SOCCER City e.V. (hereinafter referred to as the organizer), the customer offers to conclude a contract with the organizer. Registration may be made in writing, verbally or by telephone. The contract comes into existence upon booking and the associated dispatch of the invoice, which is sent by email directly after booking.

2. Services

The scope of the contractual services is determined by the organizer's service description in the brochures and online presentations on the website www.soccer-city.eu, as well as by the information referring to these in the confirmation of participation.

3. Changes to Services and Prices

Changes or deviations in individual services from the agreed content of the contract that become necessary after conclusion of the contract and were not brought about by the organizer contrary to good faith are only permitted insofar as the changes or deviations are not substantial and do not impair the overall course. If registration for a Soccer camp/goalkeeper camp/VPC takes place within a period of up to 12 days before the start of the event, the organizer can no longer guarantee the equipment package for the camp.

4. Payment

Upon conclusion of the contract and receipt of the invoice, the place is booked and the invoice amount is therefore due for payment. In the case of fully booked Soccer camps/goalkeeper camps/VPCs or trial days, the order of registration and receipt of payment determine the allocation of places.

5. Cancellation

a) 3-, 4-, 5- or 6-day Soccer camps/goalkeeper camp/VPC without overnight accommodation/1-day trial days without overnight accommodation

In the event of cancellation of participation in a 3-, 4-, 5- or 6-day Soccer camp/goalkeeper camp/VPC or a trial day advertised without overnight accommodation, the ordered equipment will be sent to the participant and 20% of the participation fee paid will also be refunded.

b) Soccer camps/goalkeeper camp with overnight accommodation

The customer may withdraw from the contract at any time. Cancellation may only be declared in writing. If the customer withdraws from the contract or does not take up the offer, the organizer may, in accordance with Section 651h subsection 2 of the German Civil Code (BGB), demand flat-rate cancellation costs as reasonable compensation for the arrangements made and expenses incurred. These flat-rate cancellation costs per registered participant for Soccer camps/goalkeeper camps advertised with overnight accommodation are:

Up to 30 days before the start of the camp: 20% of the camp price
29–22 days before the start of the camp: 30% of the camp price
21–15 days before the start of the camp: 45% of the camp price
14–7 days before the start of the camp: 65% of the camp price
6–1 day before the start of the camp: 80% of the camp price
On the day the camp begins: 95% of the camp price

6. Cancellation and Termination by the Organizer

The organizer may withdraw from the contract before the start of the event or terminate the contract after the event has begun in the following cases:
a) Without notice
If the participant persistently disrupts the event despite a warning from the organizer or behaves in such a manner contrary to the contract that immediate termination of the contract is justified. If the organizer terminates the contract, they retain the right to the travel price; however, they must deduct the value of the expenses saved as well as any benefits obtained from using the services not utilized for another purpose, including amounts credited to them by the service providers.
b) Up to 2 weeks before a Soccer camp/goalkeeper camp/VPC
If a Soccer camp/goalkeeper camp/VPC is cancelled by the organizer because the minimum number of 24 participants has not been reached, the customer will immediately be offered an alternative event, which may be located at a reasonable distance of no more than 40 km. If the organizer cannot offer the customer an alternative event, the customer will receive a full refund of the participation fee. If the customer declines to participate in the alternative event, they will receive a refund of the participation fee, less a processing fee of €10 per registered person.
c) Other deadlines
The organizer reserves the right to set cancellation deadlines other than those stated in individual cases. These must be communicated to the customer in the announcement or confirmation.
d) The organizer reserves the right, in the event of non-compliance with the rules (e.g. drug and alcohol consumption, vandalism, etc.), to send the participant home at their own expense.

7. Liability of the Organizer

The organizer is liable within the scope of the duty of care of a prudent businessperson for:
1. conscientious preparation
2. the accuracy of the description
3. the proper provision of the contractually agreed services

8. Data Protection / Data Protection Declaration

9. Limitation of Liability

9.1 The organizer's contractual liability is limited to three times the participation price,
1. insofar as no damage to the participant is caused intentionally or through gross negligence

9.2  There is also no liability in the event of burglary or theft.

10. Insurance
Every participant must have health and personal liability insurance; children and young people must be covered through their legal guardians. The decision to take out additional insurance is at the participant's discretion.

11. Medical Care

If a participant becomes ill or is injured during the event, the participant or their legal guardians authorize the organizer to take all necessary steps and actions to arrange safe, appropriate treatment and/or transport home. Should the organizer incur costs as a result of providing emergency medical care to a participant, the participant or their legal guardians agree to reimburse these costs immediately.

12. Photo and Film Rights
By registering, the participants and their legal representatives consent to photographs and film recordings being made of the participants and distributed and publicly displayed by the organizer—including on the internet—without restriction as to the geographic, content-related or temporal scope of use, and in particular repeatedly for the organizer's own or third-party advertising purposes as well as for merchandising purposes. This also includes consent to distribution and display on SOCCER City's YouTube channel and SOCCER City's Instagram, Facebook and TikTok accounts.

13. Place of Jurisdiction
The participant may sue the organizer only at its registered office. For lawsuits brought by the organizer against the participant, the participant's place of residence is decisive, unless the lawsuit is directed against merchants or persons who have no general place of jurisdiction in Germany, or against persons who, after conclusion of the contract, have moved their residence or habitual place of residence abroad, or whose place of residence or habitual place of residence is unknown at the time the action is filed. In these cases, the organizer's registered office is decisive.
